Cherwell Software strengthens EMEA team to build salesand partner programmes across Europe
Cherwell welcomes Roger Sowerbutts and Pierre Aeschlimann to grow Cherwell’s European presence and provide holistic enterprise service management to their customers

Cherwell Software, LLC, (“Cherwell”) a global leader in service management, has announced the appointment of Roger Sowerbutts as sales director of UK, Ireland and France, and Pierre Aeschlimann, solution and sales strategist & evangelist to its EMEA leadership team.
With ambitious plans for continued growth throughout the UK and the rest of Europe, as well as a move towards the emerging enterprise service management market, Cherwell is looking to expand its European partner portfolio and build deeper relationships with existing partners. To support the company’s mission, Sowerbutts and Aeschlimann will be responsible for sales and partner programmes across the UK and Europe, communicating the value, capabilities, and benefits of Cherwell’s offerings to the company’s customers, partners, and industry colleagues.

Roger Sowerbutts has come to Cherwell following Vice President roles for the EMEA market with companies such as Blueprint Software Systems, Zynstra and Infor. Roger is a successful, creative and highly experienced International Enterprise Software Solutions & Services/Cloud/Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) leader, with experience in scaling large sales and pre-sales teams across multi-countries. He has a proven track record in hiring, managing and growing sales teams and winning new enterprise clients, and is a specialist in new business growth, SAAS/cloud, digital transformation, AI, and generating rapid growth.
Sowerbutts adds: “Service Management is no longer siloed to IT as businesses are looking for streamlined services, automation and efficiency across the entire enterprise. The market as a whole is moving towards supporting the digital transformation of a range of business functions, including those such as HR and facilities management. Pierre Aeschlimann joins Cherwell Software following his position as Partner Development Manager at ServiceNow, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in the service management sector. Prior to this, Pierre spent a number of years working at BMC Software, Stratavia and before that, CA Technologies, where he worked on solution strategy and channel.
